Ortega Highway is having major road work for the next 3 years which has already started. It will be completely closed from 8:30 pm - 4:30 am for 6 or 7 days/week and then have only 1 lane open when not closed. Delays of an hour or more are expected during the day.

Alternates are 91, via the 55 or 241, to the north, and the 76 to the south.

Just allowing time to get to J. Blanch field in Temecula is not good enough. Parking is often a real problem so you must allow extra time to ensure you get checked in and to your assigned field on time. From Mission Viejo you should allow at least 90 minutes driving time plus a half hour to park plus a half hour prep before game time. So if you have an 8:00 AM game, you leave Mission Viejo before 5:30.
