Playing rules

     U-Age          Halves    OT ½     Ball       Preliminary rounds. A tie is a tie

     17-19           45          15            5          Elimination rounds. If tied:

        16              40          15            5          A. Two complete OT periods.

        14              35          10            5          B. If still tied after OT then directly to KPM

        12              30          10             5

        10              25           5            4

 

Home team is listed first on schedule. Choice of sides. On color conflict shall change shirts.  

      Supplies game balls.

 

Referee checks teams before game. Roster; Cards (passes); Safety; Equipment

      CAS/USYS Admin/player passes. Signed, with picture and plastic laminated [prior to match]

Coach may review other team’s roster/passes ONLY at time of referee check-in of credentials

 

Number is required on all uniforms (including goalkeeper). Must be listed on roster.

Equipment follows FIFA (NO jewelry)

 

Each team pays ½ of game fee prior to game. State Cup pays for forfeited games.

 

15 minute grace period. Seven (7) players and carded coach – game is played.

A ‘carded’ coach from that league must be with the team for the entire game.

 

Subs: unlimited with referee consent at any stoppage of play.

No mechanical (voice) devices (including cell phones) may be used (coaching).

Players/coaches stay within 10 yds of halfway or midfield line.

 

MISCONDUCT

Coach/sub/players make NO derogatory remarks or gestures, profanity or inciting of disruptive  

     behavior to anyone (ref/player/sub/spectators)

 

Send off/dismissal. Referee gives pass and supplemental report to field administrator

Referee must complete all forms and turn them in at the end of the match.

 

Always PROFESSIONAL in words and actions.

 Be in position to make the calls. Clear/decisive/convincing calls.

Work WITH your referee team (look at each other; support each other); it is a TEAM effort.
